Dates: Thanksgiving night, November 24 - December 31st, Wednesday through Sunday nights from 6-9 pm

Where:  Brainerd Arboretuim

Share the warm glow of the season with family and friends as you drive along the illuminate path featuring over 70 animated and lighted displays of the Winter Wonderland. (Over 25 new displays this year). Enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays for only $10 per car. After the tour of lighted displays be sure to sop in at the Holiday Village for Holiday refreshments and more seasonal displays.  Who knows…you may even spot Santa.

 

 

 

 

8TH ANNUAL CROSSLAKE WINTERFEST

Friday and Saturday, February 3-4, 2012

Bundle up the family and bring them to Crosslake for our 8th Annual Winterfest Celebration! This years events kick off with the Treasure Hunt for the Medallion and activities at the Crosslake Community Center.  Enjoy a bonfire & s'mores, pond skating, DJ music, a snow mountain and horse drawn wagon rides.  Warm up at the warming house with coffee & hot chocolate while the kids check out the Crosslake Fire Department trucks!  Get your wristband for discounts and specials all over town!  Check out our Winterfest sweatshirts and Caps for the whole family!
Saturday brings another day filled with family fun beginning with the Firefighter's Pancake Breakfast. Be sure to get your souvenir soup cup as the Soupfest begins at noon.  Plan the day enjoying helicopter rides, italian olympics, bocce ball, radar runs along with a kids snowmobile test track,  ice car races, ice sculpture demonstrations, kids games and a snowman building contest!
It's going to be an awesome Winterfest Weekend in Crosslake!

“SHAKE YOUR SHAMROCKS” IN CROSSLAKE!

The Brainerd Lakes Chamber invites all leprechauns to join in the fun March 7-12 as part of the 37th annual Crosslake St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celebration!
Get on board and go green with the thousands of visitors who enjoy the many festivities, including the amazing parade, Miss Blarney Contest, live entertainment, the search for the Pot O' Gold Treasure and so much more! You don't have to be Irish to appreciate all the excitement associated with this decades-long tradition! Show your green pride by proudly wearing one of our Blinkie Buttons and find your Irish eyes smiling March 7-12 in Crosslake!

Celebrate America with Crosslake

The City of Crosslake along with the Brainerd Lakes Chamber have put together a show that is going to blow you away! With a phenomenal fireworks show planned over Sand Island on the south end of Cross Lake, there is just no limit to the views. You'll be speechless from the breathtaking colors and lights over the water, and from the streamline of boats. We hope to see you there on land or water! 

Best viewing spots from land:
  • From the bridge by The Wharf Restaurant on County Road 16
  • The beach at the Army Corps of Engineers Park in downtown Crosslake
  • From the dam in Crosslake next to the Army Corps of Engineers Park
Or launch your boat and watch them from the water.  It is spectacular!
